Collection: Royal Oak Offshore

Over the years, Audemars Piguet has mastered the art of watchmaking craft, earning a reputation as one of the few oldest watch brands globally. Now and then, Audemars Piguet tends to release a limited collection of watches to the delight of its followers. And Audemars Piguet did just that by launching the Royal Oak Offshore in 1993.

Audemars Piguet presented the watch at the Baselworld Expo, and just like the Royal Oak in 1972, people thought it would be unsuccessful and reckless. A few years later, the watch boomed onto the international markets, became a fan-favorite, and not to mention a huge success and the rest is history.

The brand launched the first Royal Oak Offshore model with a sizable 42 mm diameter, which was truly groundbreaking for large-sized watches at the time. Its boldly generous size set a new standard for future trends. And with steel as its metal of choice, the Royal Oak Offshore had some similarities with its sibling and featured some new innovative materials.
